How to prevent suicide and why you should stop it

When I was young, I drew a webtoon called Suicide Boy on Daejeon Comics.
At first, she just used suicide as a comedy material, but she gradually became greedy.

I wanted to give some strength to people who were thinking about suicide, and I think I even had a desire to lower the suicide rate even a little through my webtoon.
okay! Let’s cheer up and live hard again!

But no matter how much I thought about it, I couldn't find an answer.
I just can't think of it!

It may have been that I couldn't write something I could sympathize with because I had never had a hard time to the point of attempting suicide and there was no one around me who had had a hard time, but the real problem was different.

Good creative works make people happy and provide great comfort.

But I think I tried to solve all the problems too conveniently using only those things.

also

Are you going to live your whole life like a loser?

If you fall behind in the competition, that's the end of your life!

cheer up!
It's no big deal once it passes!
You can overcome this!
There will definitely come a day when you look back and think you did a good job!

I was only speaking to people who were suicidal.

As if they were the only ones with problems.

As if they had no choice but to overcome.

There may be problems around them or in this society.

Isn't our society taking too lightly the hardships of others?
Wake up!
How long are you going to sit like that?

When I see people struggling,
I think that they have to stand up on their own because no one else can help them and lift them up forever.

However, you may be seriously injured, such as in a car accident, and
be in such a critical condition that you cannot sustain life unless someone helps you.

Also
eat quickly.
Everyone eats it even if they don't want to, so why are you the only one who has it so bad?

When you see someone who doesn't want to do something,
you may think that they are just complaining because it doesn't suit their aptitude, just like complaining about side dishes because the food doesn't suit their taste.

However , it can be a very serious condition, such as when you eat food you are allergic to and your airway becomes swollen, making it difficult to breathe .

Now,
rather than thinking of a lion throwing its cub off a cliff,

Isn’t it necessary to take the perspective of supporting injured comrades on the battlefield?

People easily accept that even small, trivial things, like touching and stroking a dog, can make them feel calm and happy, but they
seem reluctant to accept that something that seems small and trivial can cause great harm and make them unhappy.

The hard work itself may be painful, but
the fact that no one understands it may make it even more difficult.

I might feel like I'm an alien from another planet.
Then wouldn't they think that since I am unique and strange, all problems would be solved if I disappeared?

If you are having a hard time and want to consult

I'm having a hard time.
Yesterday too…

What~
was it barely that much?

People I know lived hard lives even in much more difficult situations than you!
It's not hard for you!

Why are we comparing and competing against who has it harder?

Even if we can't comfort someone who says they're having a hard time, shouldn't we deny that they're having a hard time?

My parents divorced when I was young, I am now taking medication for depression, and I got injured at work...

···.

Should we acknowledge that people are in such a difficult state that they commit suicide?

If you don't meet that standard, is it okay to call me weak and pathetic?

People are not products produced in a factory.
There is no such thing as normal and abnormal, they are all just different.

If someone commits suicide for a seemingly innocuous reason,
rather than thinking of that person as weak and stupid, shouldn't we think, “Someone could have had a hard time enough to commit suicide over something like that?”

I think suicide is similar to immigration.

what? Are you going to immigrate?
Are you going to run away irresponsibly?
Don’t you think about your friends and family around you?
And they say that if you immigrate, you will go to hell!

Can we stop immigration by blaming, imposing responsibility, and scaring people?

I will be so sad if you immigrate.
So I hope you don't immigrate.
Can you tell me why you want to immigrate?
If there's anything I can do to help, I'd like to help.

Wouldn't it be possible to reduce the number of people who immigrate by solving problems and providing help to make people want to live here more?

Even now, everyone is busy and having a hard time making a living, so you may be wondering where there is room to help others.

However, the social and economic benefits of reducing the number of people emigrating may be greater than the energy and cost of helping those who emigrate.
There is news that the development of a new drug has been successful.
Once commercialized, it is expected to create tremendous economic value.

Korea's suicide rate continues to be among the highest in the world.
The cause may not be that Koreans have many genes that cause suicidal impulses.
However, it is difficult to make a living, so it is not an economic problem, but Korea is one of the countries that are well off.

So shouldn't this be seen as something else wrong with our society?

Just as coughing is one of the symptoms of a cold,
suicide can be one of the symptoms that appear when society is sick.

This means that it is not a problem limited to suicide, but can be a problem for society as a whole.

(It's too hard.)
(There's too much pressure.)
(I don't see any hope.)
(If I fall behind in the competition, it's the end.)

Current Korean society seems to take individual pain for granted.

It seems that individuals are bullying each other by saying that because it is difficult for them, others should not be comfortable as well.
How long are you going to play just because you made some money?
So what happens to the fans who are waiting?
Is there anything you can learn from watching stars who continue to work even after becoming successful?
You really have no professionalism!!

The vicious cycle is repeating itself.

Also, the pain that drove someone to commit suicide may not go away and may continue to be passed on to others.
He committed suicide so I took over everything!
But it's really hard...
